How We Work

Our methodology across all engagements

Every Sejahtera engagement begins with listening. Before we offer direction, we take time to understand the family's situation — the assets involved, the family structure, the existing arrangements if any, and the concerns driving the enquiry. This picture is what good estate planning advice depends on.

From there, we work through the relevant legal framework — civil, Syariah, or both — in plain language, so clients understand the shape of their options before any drafting work begins. Nothing is prepared until the client understands and agrees with the approach.

At the conclusion of each session, we provide a written summary. Documents, where applicable, are prepared with care and executed formally. Clients are never left uncertain about what was decided or what happens next.

1

Initial Listening

We gather the full picture of the family's situation before offering any direction.

2

Legal Framework Review

We identify the applicable legal principles — civil, Syariah, or both — and explain them clearly.

3

Options and Agreement

We present the available approaches and agree with the client on the direction before any drafting begins.

4

Preparation and Execution

Documents are prepared carefully, reviewed with the client, and formally executed with witnesses.

5

Written Summary

Every session concludes with a written record of advice given and next steps agreed.
